Tim Yeager (Ph.D, Economics, Washington University) lives and works as a full time economist in the St. Louis area. His current research and work focus on money and banking, and institutional economics. Prior to returning to St. Louis, Dr. Yeager taught economics full-time at Humboldt State University, and Ithaca College. In addition to his other work, he periodically lectures at colleges in the St. Louis area. His student evaluations have always been outstanding, and his in-class students love using his online text as their sole textbook.

Dr. Yeager is the author of Institutions, Transition Economies, and Economic Development, 1999, Westview Press. His research has also been published in the Journal of Economic History.
