So far, we've been representing demand and supply with simple graphs. We can just as easily represent these relationships with schedules (tables) or with simple equations. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. Demand and supply schedules or tables simply list prices and the associated quantities demanded or supplied.

   A simple demand schedule might look like the table to the right. Notice that this table makes sense as an example of a demand relationship, since higher prices are associated with lower quantities demanded.
