Elasticity - Own Price Elasticity of Demand

We have shown that slope isn't the same as elasticity. A linear demand curve, which has the same slope everywhere, will be elastic when price is high and inelastic when price is low. The graph to the right shows how elasticity changes along a linear demand curve.
