In more advanced courses you will study constant elasticity demand
curves, such as the one shown to the right. Demand curves like this
are rectangular hyperbolas and have the same elasticity everywhere.
Whether such demand curves are likely to exist in the real world
can only be determined by research, but it seems rather unlikely
doesn't it?
