Two indifference curves for the same person at the same time
cannot cross. On the graph to the right we have a blue curve and
a red curve crossing. Suppose we try to convince you that they belong
to the same person. Points above and to the right of the blue
yield greater utility than points on the blue curve. These points
are in the blue shaded area and include some of the points on the red curve.
