What about points below and above the PPF? A point like F would be wonderful for our student. She could spend all her time having fun and still have a 4.0 GPA. Such points are only available at major party schools. Students at such schools are unlikely to be using this site:)
A point like G indicates that time is being wasted in activities that are neither
fun nor that help GPA, say spacing out while at the library. At G the opportunity cost of grade points in terms of fun is zero; meaning, it's possible to have more of both (more on this later).
