The elasticity of labor supply is a measure of how responsive supply is to a change in the wage, just like any other elasticity.

To the right is a very elastic labor supply curve for some occupation. Modest increase in the wage lead to large increases in the amount of labor supplied.

An occupation will have an elastic labor supply if training is easy and quick to obtain or little training is required, or workers in many other occupations have similar skills.
