Areas 1 and 2 lie below Z's PPF; therefore, they would not be acceptable trades and thus are not part of Z's trade region.
Z could only attain bundles in area 6 if it could convince Q to accept trades that would put it below its no-trade PPF (something Q would not do), so these bundles cannot be attained and do not belong in Z's trade region.
